November 17th: everyone radically opposed to the airport!

What is fundamentaly radical in the opposition is the utter conviction that the airport in Notre-Dame-des-Landes will never exist. The movement against the airport is growing stronger and stronger. Anger and solidarity are expressed here as well as elsewhere. All the gatherings and actions performed in the last four weeks against the Vinci group and the Socialist Party are, among others, an integral part of the fight.

Caught wrongfooted, the prefecture and local authorities attempt to divide the opponents into groups: the "good-ones" and the "bad-ones". They criminalise a part of the opposition, in order to threaten and dissuade other to join the movement. In fact, the truth is completely different: these crude manipulations have no effect and the support is increasing.

On November 17th, the procession with start from Notre-Dame-des-Landes for a re-occupation demonstration, united and popular, gathering opponents from varied backgrounds but nevertheless standing together. "We will not drop anything, we will not let ourselves get divided!"
