A week of activities in la Châteigne from the 27th of december to the 3rd of january

A week of activities in la Châteigne proposed by the Kulon Progo building team —from the 27th of december to the 3rd of january 2013—

The building team of the Kulon Progo sleeping will organise the first week of presidio in the Châteigne. The Châteigne is the place to organise for the struggle against the airport and the system which support it on the zad. ’Presidio’ means inviting the ’comités locaux’ and other groups to hold and propose some activities to do in the place from a few days to one week. We will hold a welcoming place from 10 to 12 and from 2 untill the sunset, prepare food with and for others (you’re welcome to both), going on with the building works in progress, show movies, have discussions, debates and others; just come and give other ideas you have!

Thursday 27 december 4pm Introduction to the week by the building team Kulon Progo History of the «Pot’Col’Le» in Dijon (France) and photo exhibition. 8pm Meeting called by the reoccupation assembly about the future of the occupation on the ZAD (at La Vache Rit)

Friday 28 december--- 12 Meal and talk about jail and peasants 7pm Documentary and discussions about Kulon Progo and the resistance against the project of «Belo Monte Dam» in the Amazonian Forest in Brazil

Saturday 29 december 4.30pm Let’s meet in front of the jail in Nantes to support our friends! 9pm _ Brasilian dance workshop : Samba.

Sunday 30 december 11am Workshop : How to make a Tanuki mask. 2pm : Only girl activity - Exchanging knowledges about the resistance technics behind the barricades

Monday 31 december 11am Workshop : How to make a Tanuki mask. 9pm Big New Year’s Party.

Tuesday 1st january 9pm 21h – Projection «Life in the fast lane

Wednesday 2 January 2pm And after the victory, what do we do? 6pm Discussion about the «road protests» movement in England in the 90’s and the radical eco mouvement of direct actions

Thursday 3 January- 11am Workshop : How to make a Tanuki mask. 6pm Film projection about « Plogoff » 9pm Rebetiko gig - traditional greek music from the undergrounds

To include everybody and respect the diferent visions in la ZAD the food will all be Vegan.
