    19 December 2013

the state and those for the airport threaten to come back in force all over again. they presume they will begin the destruction of protected species and the construction of the airport in the coming months. a new wave of evictions could arise. we won’t let is happen! the construction will not begin! the movement on the ground is even more alive than autumn of 2012, the connections are stronger, the fields more cultivated and the houses more numerous. Even more, over 200 local committees have (...)

  • Speech of inhabitants during the Forum against useless projects

    7 August 2013

Friends from here, friends from elsewhere- Everyone knows that a territory is defended with its inhabitants, and that a territory emptied of it’s population is easy to conquer. It’s anyways for this reason that a callout was made public on mayday 2008 for occupying the land injustly appropriated by the promoters of this project. The strategy paid off. The bulldozer of progress doesn’t pass as easily as planned. It’s now 2012 and the works have been heavily delayed. Our common enemies (...)

  • Coming to the ZAD...or not?

    16 June 2013

Contribution to the discussions about the welcome-space Welcoming visitors has been part of life on the ZAD for years, the reverberations made by the struggle against the airport and its world since the attempted evictions last autumn makes us scared that the ZAD will become the activist holiday destination this summer. It is a divisive question currently being discussed amongst the occupants. We felt the need to share “our analysis” so everyone could draw the conclusions they find most (...)

  • Proposal for a day of action against the military occupation of territory

    23 May 2013

After the first time the cops left the La Saulce junction, ZAD residents found it important to talk about and act on the military occupation. The idea to propose a day of action on this issue to the committees had been discussed during the meeting of the committees 14 April. During the two assemblies that had taken place on the crossroads the idea of doing a call-out to the committees to work on actions to occupy roads, boulevards or junctions had been brought up several times. A group of (...)

  • Either they kick us out, or they leave! (and if they kick us out, we’ll come back!)

    23 May 2013

The day before the "Sème Ta ZAD" demonstration the riot police (gendarmes mobiles) left the junction of the Fosses Noires/Chemin de Suez. During 2 days, this junction, centre of the ZAD, became what it used to be: a place where people passed, discussed, a meeting point. During these days, hundreds of people were on the ZAD, tools in hand. On Sunday we celebrated the end of the military occupation. An ephemeral dream or a reality of the days to come? For over 141 days we, people living in (...)

  • Imminent threat to cut trees – send us information !

    4 April 2013

At the peak of resistance in november 2012 the government tried to calm down the situation by promising a moratorium on treecutting until the end of a pseudo scientific commission. This commission is predicted to report alongside the dialogue commission in the beginning of april. Permissions for works indicate tree cutting is imminent and sources say that the state wants to create facts on the ground to weaken the opposition. Preliminary work along the barreau routier (...)

  • the collective individual

    18 March 2013

I wrote this into respons of what goes around and with me on the zad. Everyone has his reality, bagage to care and fights to fight. This is how i ’sea’ change. i see this dark and twisted society created by a manipulating minority and accepted by a blindfolded majority that is supporting this grotesque insanity under control of powerful illusions and feared brutality they are silently receiving shiny objects for their slavery automatically forced to kill themselfs by corrupting their (...)

  • Final warning !!

    16 March 2013

This text is the work of a few people from the ZAD who were present at some of the clashes with the police. It is an analysis of our experiences, and aims to both inform all those who are willing to come to help us defend our home, and also to share experiences of many people resisting police operations in one place. We hope it will help all those who do not have very much experience of this kind of thing to be better prepared to cope with the violence of the state, and especially to more (...)
