I would like to inform you about the number of casualties we had to delay with. The Rohanne Forest, in the centre of the ZAD. People lived there fairly peacefully for around two years, in a big communal house and scattered treehouses. The police came and destroyed the house what seems like a long long time ago, on the 18th October 2012. A new communal was built high up in the trees. On Saturday, after 3 weeks of evictions, we were more than 30000 to re-occupy the ZAD. As soon as the demonstration arrived, 5 pre-assembled structures started to get built: a meeting-room of 80m², a kitchen house, 2 dorms, a toilet and bath block and a workshop. I’ve read very carefully the newspaper Presse Océan of last october 31th where you talk about the building of the new airport at Notre Dame-des-Landes. I had joined seven comrades up in the last tree house to be evicted Rohanne Forest . It was October 31st. We had a lot of fun up there, may be due to the anxiety and palpable tension we shared. We made jokes, and distributed the equipment which was left. We made a harness with a sling. We felt strong in being able to do all that in about twenty minutes, up in the tree. The 17th of November, a demonstration of reoccupation is organized, thought as a time of collective response to evictions of squats in ZAD. We are occupants of ZAD. We are not in logical of political party. We don’t believe in pseudo democracy et its game of representation. What is the strength of these moments experienced since the outbreak of expulsions is to meet a lot of people thanks to our rejection of this airport project and people around it. We won’t go?

Following a text that has been released on sunday the 14th of october, two days before the beginning of evictions. We won’t go? « I don’t want to go » does not mean « I’m not going to go ». In fact, I even may run away rapidly when they come to take me. Running away has nothing to do with coward or bravery; it’s just elementary self-defence. There’s no shame or proudness to put in that, only a strategical and political relation to assess. I’m not fighting to produce nor martyred, neither broken (...)
